Biography

Erica Lovell began her Musical Theatre career in 2008 taking on the role of Amy March in Kookaburra National Musical Theatre Company’s production of Little Women, directed by Stuart Maunder.

From there she went on to play Fredrika Armfeldt in Opera Australia’s production of A Little Night Music in 2009, also directed by Stuart Maunder.

For Sydney Theatre Company, Erica played Martha in Spring Awakening under the direction of Geordie Brookman in 2010.

She returned to Opera Australia to reprise her role as Fredrika in 2010.

After a year off to complete studies, Erica returned to the stage to take on the role of Deb in the Australian premier of Adam Gwon’s four-hander Ordinary Days, directed by Grace Barnes for Squabbalogic.

In 2013 Erica played Bitch in Lee Blessing’s Great Falls, and Zelda in David Williamson’s Happiness, both for The Ensemble Theatre.

Erica played Brigid in Serhat Caradee’s film Cedar Boys alongside Rachael Taylor.

Erica has played numerous guest roles on TV.
